Not any longer when mathematics became one nightmare for children around the world. Apparently, the nightmare was coming to an end with the birth PhotoMath.
Applications made MicroBlink is predicted to be a good friend of children elementary school age (SD) and Junior High School (SMP). Photomath for now can only reach the questions commonly done by school children aged up to 14 years.
However, the CEO MicroBlink, Damir Sabol, stating that if his application can be used to solve basic math problems covering arithmetic, fractions and decimals, powers and roots, as well as a simple linear equation.
Then how the workings of the application? It's easy! PhotoMath using a text scanner technology integrated with a smartphone camera to complete a question. What should be done by the user is pointing the camera of the smartphone in the direction matter when wearing PhotoMath. Within seconds, the answer to the math problem will immediately appear on the screen.
Remarkably, the user can not only see the end result of the problems, but also how to step-by-step to resolve the matter. This feature was deliberately added by MicroBlink to provide more understanding on children who are already 'dead end' while doing it.
Due to the convenience provided by PhotoMath, not a few who give criticism. They worry that if the application is used by students to cheat during the exam.
But still, the application is already available on iOS and Windows Phone has been downloaded more than 110,000 times in one day, Mashable (23/10). That number is expected to increase dramatically when the app was released for Android gadgets PhotoMath in early 2015.
